You can opt out of my Substack Newsletter and just choose my simplified Monthly Newsletter. Check the ‘Unsubscribe’ button below to opt out of my Substack.
If you subscribed to the first and original Raven’s Nest Newsletter, you will still have access to it, even if you unsubscribe from my Substack.
OR if you wish to continue receiving both the Monthly Newsletter AND Substack Publication posts, and you're currently subscribed to both, you don’t have to do anything at the moment.

The long, winded, explanation:
I've been thinking about newsletters and social media lately, and how I plan to use my Author Substack moving forward. The more I get to know this platform, the more I see its potential for community and safe spaces. My only issue is that I keep going back and forth making The Raven's Nest private one day and then public the other. I’ve been confused about which is the best route for me!
Of course, I want to have easy access for curious readers, but I also want to make an exclusive thing for Newsletter subscribers. I want an archive of posts and writing here on Substack while having a short and non-invasive newsletter option for readers who don’t want to get bombarded with future emails.
So, I decided to split it into two. I'll still run this Substack, more as a public publication that will send updates, stories, blog posts, free-to-read content, and such to anyone who wants to keep receiving them directly to their inbox! Or not. 🤷♀️ The beauty of this Substack is that you can browse the content without having to commit immediately. You could follow me on the app, and you'd still have access to it. But, from now on, I will use the term ‘Publication’ so as not to draw confusion. The TRN Pub.
But for those readers who would just want the updates, exclusive-to-them-only stuff, and links, I’ll be going back to my old Subscription model. The simplified one. I'll rebrand it as ‘The Raven's Nest Monthly’, a round-up and simplified, exclusive and private, newsletter subscription.
You don't have to keep the Substack publication one. If you're seeing this, this is still the Substack Newsletter, and you can unsubscribe down below if long author musings, book writing journies, and serialized stories aren’t quite your jam yet. I will still provide links to any relevant content to this Substack on the Raven’s Nest Monthly Newsletter, anyway!
I just want to give my readers more options. I know a cluttered Inbox isn’t always the best.
